Historic Co-Sanctioned FlingGolf Division to Debut at Temecula Creek Inn on July 25–26, 2026

Houston, Texas — May 9, 2026 — Speedgolf USA and New Swarm FlingGolf today announced a new strategic partnership aimed at expanding participation, innovation, and athletic engagement within the game of golf. The collaboration will officially debut at the upcoming 10th U.S. Speedgolf Open, taking place July 25–26, 2026 at Temecula Creek Inn, where a dedicated co-sanctioned division for FlingGolf athletes will be introduced for the first time in event history.

“We’re incredibly excited to welcome the FlingGolf community to the U.S. Speedgolf Open at Temecula Creek Inn” said Scott Dawley, Executive Director of Speedgolf USA. “Speedgolf and FlingGolf share a common vision for the future of golf — one that embraces athleticism, accessibility, innovation, and inclusion,” This partnership is about creating more entry points into the game by showcasing how exciting and dynamic golf can become when innovation and creativity are embraced.”

The partnership brings together two modern golf movements built around accessibility, innovation, fitness, and pace of play. Both organizations believe the future of golf includes broader participation opportunities and new competitive formats that maintain the spirit of golf while evolving the way the game is experienced.

“FlingGolf has always been about opening the golf course to more people in more ways,” said Alex Van Alen, FlingGolf’s founder and CEO of New Swarm. “Speedgolf represents that same spirit of innovation and athletic challenge. Bringing our communities together at such a respected championship event creates an entirely new experience for players, fans, and golf facilities alike. We believe this is just the beginning.”

The 2026 U.S. Speedgolf Open will be co-sanctioned by Speedgolf USA and World League FlingGolf and feature competitive FlingGolf players alongside elite Speedgolf athletes competing within a shared championship environment, creating one of the most unique golf events in the country.

“At Temecula Creek Inn, we’re always looking for ways to celebrate the evolution of golf while creating memorable experiences for players and guests,” said Peter Winninger. “Hosting a FlingGolf division at the 10th U.S. Speedgolf Open reflects the growing demand for more active, engaging, and inclusive golf experiences. We’re proud to be part of an event that is helping shape the future of the game.”
